Kate Moss, Sylvia Hoeks, Joan Smalls… For her next campaign, Valérie Messika has chosen to cast three contemporary icons that break the codes of Parisian jewelry.
“I wanted to create a trio of girls, a gang that would represent women in their diversity and each of whom, whatever their age, would embody a type of beauty, says Valérie Messika. “Kate Moss has always been my muse, she is a Legend of fashion and a rock n’ roll icon. Kate is above all a free woman. As for Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks, she seduced me with her personality and her character. Finally, I chose Joan Smalls for her spectacular physique. She gives off a very contemporary glamour. Beyond jewelry, this trio has an attitude. They are strong women who breathe their own style into jewelry. They influence diamonds and not the other way around. This is, in fact, the main characteristic of Messika’s jewelry.”
”This collection is a way for us to reinvent Move. The inspiration comes from the medallions that actas lucky charms, talismans. Lucky Move jewelry can also be worn in many ways”, says Valérie Messika.
The diamond chokers flash incandescently with circles of yellow, pink or white gold. The XXL pendants are set on carabiner chains and illuminate signet rings with different types of geometry. All gold on the outside and plated inside and vice versa, Lucky Move can be engraved as desired with names, dates or sweet messages on one side. Some pendants are reversible, offering a versatile and fun touch. A sexy collection whose appeal is based on the contrast between the delicate medallions and strong geometric design of the Move motif.
Created by Mert & Marcus, this campaign infuses crazy energy into the Messika collections: the energy of diamonds. The first theme in peacock blue is dedicated to the Lucky Move, a new collection full of roundness, with playful and poetic accents, that unveiled in September. Born from the desire to perfectly glorify a woman’s body, the pieces together make a timeless and captivating combination.
With its diamonds in motion, rounded shape and micro-pavé setting, Lucky Move perpetuates Messika’s signature with its own identity. Portraying a Mix & Match spirit, it can be worn solo or stacked. For several years now, Messika has been offering its customers the chance to create sets which suit their style. Many different combinations which make women unique, modern and radiant.
Valérie Messika reinvents an everyday object the carabiner, combining it with the Move medallion in an oversized motif design. This ultra-modern chain brings a touch of rock‘n’roll to the rounded femininity of the medallion. With this fun design, each link can be opened, allowing the necklace or bracelet to be perfectly adjusted.
